Am 31. Oktober präsentierte die Galerie fingerspitzundkunst meine 2. Halloween Lesung. Ich las meinen neuen, noch unveröffentlichten Kurzroman "Der Fluch und Niedergang des Hauses Voltar: Die Abessinischen Greuel", eine Geschichte welche für Torsten Scheibs Anthologie "Casus Belli" geschrieben wurde.

Wieder einmal hatten die fingerspitzundkunst Inhaber Caroline und Chris Parsons die Galerie zu diesem Anlaß wunderschön gruselig dekoriert und für die perfekte Organisation des Event gesorgt.

Ich hatte mich als "Janus" - eine Figur aus der Geschichte - verkleidet (nun ja, mit einigen parodistischen Elementen) und war "in character", wie man an meinem Gesichtsausdruck auf dem während der Pause vor der Galerie geschossenen Photo sehen kann.

Wir alle hatten eine Menge Spaß an diesem Abend!

Tony Caulfield's Halloween reading at the gallery fingerspitzundkunst, 2009

On October 31, the art gallery fingerspitzundkunst presented my 2nd Halloween reading. I read my new, yet unpublished short novel "Der Fluch und Niedergang des Hauses Voltar: Die Abessinischen Greuel" ("The Curse and Fall of the House of Voltar: The Abyssinian Atrocities"), a story written for Torsten Scheib's anthology "Casus Belli".

Once more, fingerspitzundkunst owners Caroline and Chris Parsons had provided for the adequate, beautifully eerie decoration of the gallery, as well as the perfect organization of the event.

I dressed up as "Janus" - a character from the story - (well, including some parodistic elements) and was "in character", as you can tell from my facial expression on that photo shot during the break in front of the gallery.

We all had a lot of fun that evening!
