Once more, I'd like to document (and recommend!) an event I wasn't involved in but thoroughly enjoyed. A photography/poetry vernissage by photographer Uli Wenzel and poet Sabine Rauber-Thielen, who are also running a casting/modeling agency named baujahr68.

The vernissage took place at a nice location in Kaiserslautern, Restaurant Hermann's; the works will be on display there until about three months from now...so you can still go and see them if you like.

Artist Jürgen Gamber enriched the event by doing one of his bodypainting sessions, using an airbrush to paint one of the photo's motives onto the body of a young lady.

Please note that this is also a charity event: 30pc of each sold work will be donated to a children's home!

"In the course of the LATE NIGHT ART IN KAISERSLAUTERN event, all involved are happy to present this exhibition at HERMANN´s, under the direction of Andreas Hermann and Katharina Meyer-Ottens (...).
Sabine Rauber-Thielen & Uli Wenzel would like to dedicate their art project TEXT&IMAGE to the children of our region Rhineland-Palatinate/Kaiserslautern by donating 30pc of each sold work to a children's home !
We will exhibit encounters with nature, depicted through text (Sabine Rauber-Thielen) and photography (Uli Wenzel). (...)
Comprehend word&photo as a unity and get immersed in a world of dreams. Comb through the visualization using your senses and allow yourself to penetrate the depth of the word&image-layers.
This collective work of art was brought to life through the harmonious symbiosis of WORD&IMAGE. The human beings involved, Rauber-Thielen/Wenzel, are living their part from early childhood on. Sabine dared, at the smart age of 12, to declare prose, lyrical poetry and verbally-unrestricted texts to be part of her life's journey.

Offizielle Info (Auszug): "Im Rahmen der LATE NIGHT ART IN KAISERSLAUTERN freuen sich alle Beteiligten die Ausstellung im HERMANN´s, unter der Leitung von Andreas Hermann und Katharina Meyer-Ottens präsentieren zu dürfen (...).
Sabine Rauber-Thielen & Uli Wenzel möchten durch ihr Kunst-Projekt TEXT&BILD Kindern unserer Region RLP/Kaiserslautern diese Ausstellung widmen, indem von jedem verkauften Kunstobjekt 30% als Spende weitergereicht wird !
