Gerd Richter
Gerd Richter is the co-founder of Lee/Leroc Filmworkshop,
media artist, film editor and leader of the Lee/Leroc special visual effects
and digital effects department.
Gerd started his career in the film industry writing the screenplay for
the short film 'Onkel' ('Uncle') and proceeded to be co-writer and director's
assistant on further short films and industrials before he extented his
range of business and also worked as a media artist specializing on digital
visual effects.
In 1998 he created the visual FX and did the editing for Lee/Leroc's horror
spoof 'Torsil Ultra - The Attack of the One Foot Killersocks' in which he
also starred as one of the sock hunters and in 2000 he joined the crew of
the Lee/Leroc Filmworkshop production 'Death:
Download' as the VFX supervisor and screenwriter.
In 2003 Gerd Richter directed Lee/Leroc's fantasy/horror movie 'Evil
Knights', based on a screenplay by Lee/Leroc screenwriter Dirk Woiciech,
packed with special effects by Lee/Leroc SFX artist Ralf Burmester and starring,
amongst others, Lee/Leroc Filmworkshop's co-founder, owner and CEO Ingo
Trendelbernd (as Ingo Lee) and Lee/Leroc team member and actor Tony Caulfield.
Currently, Gerd is involved in the post-production of 'Evil Knights', doing
digital visual effects and supervising the editing of the movie. Moreover,
he is developing the official Website for 'Death: Download'.
