Story There are stories of places, that are better to remain in the dark, stories of people from the past, who lost their lives through treason and lies. And in the face of death they cried out for revenge and retaliation and even made a pact with the devil to avenge their shame. Thus, with the aid of the devil, they put this place under a curse... The Legend of the Curse of Sir Wycliff 800 years ago Sir Wycliff and the remaining rest of his loyal entourage of noble knights returned from the crusades. They carried with them a relic, won in the Holy Land, that was not meant to exist, for it embodied a truth the revelation of which would have forever smashed the power of the clergy and plunged the world into panic and chaos. So it chanced that Sir Wycliff and his men, under the command of the Vatican, were lead into an ambush and bloodily slain while crossing a secluded forest. Feeling betrayed by God and the church the dying called upon Satan and put a curse on the place of their last, lethal battle. the relic remained at a hidden place where it survived the centuries undiscovered. The Present: Fear The Past Two groups of young people spend their weekend in the forest - each one to their liking. While Juergen, Sid, Jenny, Marina and Roger just want to camp and have fun, Mike, Mona, Henk and Martin came to the forest for paramilitary games. The rivalry between the groups leads via a chain of unlucky events to bloodshed. Thus the centuries-old curse is fulfilled. The time of return has come. The dead flesh, driven by unspeakable hate, arises to take bloody revenge. Now both groups are forced to stick together to take a stand against the resurrected Crusaders... Evil Knights is a thrilling horror movie with mythical and parody elements that combines a uniquely eerie story with breathtaking action sequences, stunning special effects (in service of the story), and loving homages to horror film legends.
