The 1st vernissage/reading by
artist and writer Tony
Caulfield for this year will take place
on January 23, 2010, at Café
23 (Pirmasenser Str. 5, 67655 Kaiserslautern,
Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany).
Start: 19:00. Entrance is free.
The exhibition of mostly new works (paintings
/ acrylic on canvas) is titled "Otherworlds
/ Anderwelten" and will run until February 2,
2010.
Additionally, Tony will read an excerpt from
his new, yet unpublished short novel Der
Fluch und Niedergang des Hauses Voltar: Die
Abessinischen Greuel ("The Curse and Fall
of the House of Voltar: The Abyssinian Atrocities").
Moreover, the writer Manuel Sedó Y Hartel will
read from his "Aphorismen des Drachen Eidolon"
("The Aphorisms of the Dragon Eidolon").

berüchtigten Autors Tony
Caulfield.
Das Fragment einer gar erschröcklichen Legende:
"DER FLUCH UND NIEDERGANG DES HAUSES VOLTAR:
DIE ABESSINISCHEN GREUEL"
Abessinien, im Oktober des Jahres 1935.
Die höchstattraktive Frau Dr. Cuja Thujon und
ihr neunjähriges Töchterchen Sophie irren durch
die Straßen Harars. Gestern noch waren sie verzweifelt
auf der Suche nach Cujas Ehemann und Sophies
Papá gewesen, der kurz nach ihrer Ankunft unter
wahnhaften Anschuldigungen gegen seine ihn liebende
Frau verschwunden war. Heute kämpft Cuja um
das Leben ihrer Tochter. Der Krieg ist ausgebrochen!
Überall ist von an Harar heranrückenden faschistischen
Truppen die Rede. Man spricht von Luftangriffen,
unter Einsatz einer menschenverachtenden Waffe.
Doch nicht genug der Schrecken:
Auf ihrer Suche nach einem Weg das Land zu verlassen
geraten unsere beiden Heldinnen auf die Spur
eines wahnsinnigen Mörders, der seine Opfer
grausamst zu Tode foltert.
Können die wunderschöne Kimera und ihr Bruder
Janus, welche in humanitärer Mission in Abessinien
weilen, Cuja und die kleine Sophie vor dem Monster
schützen, das bereits ihre Spur aufgenommen
hat?
Ist dieser geisteskranke Schlächter - augenscheinlich
getrieben von dem mörderischen Wahn, eine ominöse
"Legende vom Fluch und Niedergang des Hauses
Voltar" zwänge ihn zu seinen Greueltaten - gar
Urheber der Intrigen welche allumher die Grausamkeit
des Krieges ins Unermeßliche steigern?

On Halloween (Friday, 31. October 2008) the
art gallery fingerspitzundkunst
organizes an author reading fitting for that
day.
Tony
Caulfield, who starred as Roger
in Evil Knights,
will be reading a story from my his book "Das
Buch des Wahns" (The Book of Madness), a
collection of horror stories.
Admission is at 19:00. The reading will start
around 19:30.
There will be a break during which you can relax
and chat, just like after the reading.
The book can be purchased that evening and Tony
Caulfield will sign it for you on request.
Moreover, old and newer ones of Tony's paintings
will be exhibited; among them some of those
"Das Buch des Wahns" is illustrated with. The
paintings are also for sale.
From now on, fingerspitzundkunst is selling
tickets at the price of € 5 each (incl. sparkling
wine) at the address given below.
There's space for 30 people per reading. If
more are interested, the reading will be repeated
the following day. Please don't wait too long
with buying the tickets, so we can plan.
The gallery has decided that only people at
age 18 or above will be admitted. (After all
the "Buch des Wahns" consists of horror stories
containing elements from the subgenre "splatterpunk".)

Evil Knights cast member Tony
Caulfield (who stars as Roger)
is co-producing a double-CD album with English, German
and French songs based on texts by poet Arthur Rimbaud,
titled Art Rimbaud Project.
Tony did the vocals for some of the songs, can be
seen in a music video included on CD 2 and portrayed
and voiced Arthur in a flash-animated Arthur Rimbaud
biography featured on the new official 'Art Rimbaud
Project' website art-rimbaud.de
which is now online!
The site also features a jukebox, lyrics,
(translations of) Rimbaud poems, Rimbaud related info,
quotes and many pics, all about the members of ISCH
ART, a poetry box, a remix contest (participate and

Ebneth recently starred in Dogma 2005 Productions'
crime/comedy feature Das Geheimnis
der Stählernen Holztür (The
Mystery of the Steely Wood Door).
All dialogue in this movie was improvised onset! The
actors merely received a rough plot and a list of
character names before the shoot.
Tony
Caulfield also played the Master of the Circle
(Master Narrator) in Lee/Leroc's horror/comedy feature
Unbelievable Terror which
was directed by Evil Knights crew members Dirk
Woiciech and Ingo
Trendelbernd.

EVIL KNIGHTS =[ THE STORY >
There are stories of places, that are better to remain in the dark, stories
of people from the past, who lost their lives through treason and lies. And in
the face of death they cried out for revenge and retaliation and even made a pact
with the devil to avenge their shame. Thus, with the aid of the devil, they put
this place under a curse...
The Legend of the Curse of Sir
Wycliff
800 years ago Sir Wycliff and the remaining rest of his loyal
entourage of noble knights returned from the crusades. They carried with them
a relic, won in the Holy Land, that was not meant to exist, for it embodied a
truth the revelation of which would have forever smashed the power of the clergy
and plunged the world into panic and chaos.
So it chanced that Sir Wycliff
and his men, under the command of the Vatican, were lead into an ambush and bloodily
slain while crossing a secluded forest.
Feeling betrayed by God and the
church the dying called upon Satan and put a curse on the place of their last,
lethal battle. the relic remained at a hidden place where it survived the centuries
undiscovered.
The Present: Fear The Past
Two groups
of young people spend their weekend in the forest - each one to their liking.
While Juergen, Sid, Jenny, Marina and Roger just want to camp and have fun, Mike,
Mona, Henk and Martin came to the forest for paramilitary games.
The
rivalry between the groups leads via a chain of unlucky events to bloodshed. Thus
the centuries-old curse is fulfilled. The time of return has come. The dead flesh,
driven by unspeakable hate, arises to take bloody revenge.
Now both groups
are forced to stick together to take a stand against the resurrected Crusaders...
Evil Knights is a thrilling horror
movie with mythical and parody elements that combines a uniquely eerie story with
breathtaking action sequences, stunning special effects (in service of the story),
and loving homages to horror film legends.
