Martin Sroka composes the score for 'Evil Knights' in close
cooperation with director Gerd
Richter, whom he got to know through actor and 'Evil
Knights' cast member Boris
Rosenberger and who found Martin's demo tape excellent.
Here is what Martin had to say about his work on the
'Evil Knights' score:
"When I visited Stuttgart (my old hometown) at the beginning
of the year, Boris asked me whether I could imagine doing
the music for a splatter movie. I was immediately fascinated
by the idea, having collected these movies in the 80s.
Some time passed, though, till I got to know Gerd and we
could talk in detail about this project. Of course I had
started very early to think about how the soundtrack could
sound like. Gerd's ideas exactly matched mine: combining
classic with modern elements."
