Gerd Richter started his
career in the film industry as screenwriter for the short
film 'Onkel' ('Uncle') and proceeded to be co-author and
director's assistant on further short films and industrials
before he extented his range of business and also worked
as a media artist specialized on digital visual effects.
In 1998 he created the visual FX and did the editing for
the horror spoof Torsil
Ultra - The Attack of the One Foot Killersocks in which
he also played one of the sock hunters, and in 2000 he was
hired as the VFX Supervisor for the action thriller Death:
Download.
Then, in 2003, Gerd Richter directed Evil Knights and is
now involved in the post-production, doing digital visual
effects.
